Alpine Valley Music Theater
Alpine Valley Music Theater is located less than seven miles from camp. Check out the summer concert line up and plan your visit to catch a concert like Dave Matthews Band, a loyal Alpine Valley performer.
East Troy Electric Railroad Museum
Green Meadows Petting farm
Take the kiddos to the Green Meadows Petting Farm in East Troy to take a hay ride, watch a tortoise feeding, and pet some adorable kittens.
Old World Wisconsin
Old World Wisconsin is the world’s largest museum dedicated to the history of rural life. Enjoy the re-creation of settlements established by immigrants in America. Located in the town of Eagle.
Dream a Horse
Dream A Horse offers guided trail rides for riders of all levels and first-time riders, alike. Choose from 1 to 2 hour rides and enjoy the nature trails from a new height! Also located in nearby Eagle.
Okay, so we haven't skydived before...BUT we hear great things about Skydive Milwaukee here in East Troy. If adrenaline is your thing, then look no further.
Lake Geneva, Milwaukee, and Madison
These nearby cities are FULL of fun things to do and see. Too much to list but here are some highlights:
Lake Geneva is just 25 minutes away and has great local boutique shopping, world-class spas, delicious restaurants, and entertainment. Catch a show before dinner or go the adventurous route and take a zipline canopy tour!
Milwaukee is 45 minutes away and is also home to fantastic restaurants and bars. Take a local brewery tour, eat some cheese curds, and catch a Milwaukee Brewers baseball game to round out your Milwaukee experience!
Madison is a little over an hour away, but worth the drive. Visit the Wisconsin State Capital, check out the farmer's market, grab a pitcher of beer at the Memorial Union Terrace, and hit some unique shops on State Street for a day trip that won't disappoint.

The Elegant Farmer
The Elegant Farmer, located in Mukwonago, is best known for its award-winning Apple Pie Baked in a Paper Bag. This specialty deli and bakery also has perfect picnic-ready food, so you can have your lunch at the pond-side picnic tables back at camp!
The Duck Inn Supper Club
Supper clubs are our jam. Since we're new to the area, we're still checking the local ones off our list. But our favorite so far is The Duck Inn, in Delavan. Enjoy some surf and turf along with a Wisconsin classic- a Brandy Old Fashioned- and you will not be disappointed.
2894 On Main
2894 On Main is located on the square in East Troy and is a great place to grab specialty coffee and breakfast in the mornings. You can also grab some bespoke grocery ingredients while you're there.
Genoa's is the definition of a delicious local pizzeria. Bonus- they deliver to Camp Kettlewood so you can eat pizza by the fireside.
The East Troy Brewery
The East Troy Brewery is a neighborhood gastro brewery that serves handcrafted food and beer. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere inside or outside on the patio.
East Troy House
The East Troy House is Wisconsin's oldest inn and tavern . Established in 1863, this historic restaurant offers delicious drinks and, of course, a Friday Night Fish Fry!
Barley's Hops & Malt
Located just a few minutes from camp on Highway N, Barley's Hops & Malt is the perfect place to go for a low key evening of dinner and drinks...or just to drink beer and snack on peanuts!
